The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs de Portugal held its Grand Chapitre Chaîne Nature from June 18 to 21, celebrating cuisine closer to nature, with members from 11 countries, across Lisbon, Bairrada, and Porto.
Lisbon hosted a reception at the Altis Grand Hotel and dinner at restaurant Plano. In Bairrada, at Adega Luís Pato, Paulo Amado and Marie-Anne Ferran welcomed guests to a suckling-pig lunch. In Porto, restaurant Proua served traditional tapas.
Saturday included the Cockburn's cellars, a cod lunch at Mercado do Bolhão, and, at World of Wine, the induction of new members, with the Silver Medal going to Genny Queiroz, Pedro Ornelas, and Vítor Adão, and the title of Commandeur to Jean Ferran and Paulo Amado.
The celebration closed on the Barão Fladgate terrace with fado, a gala dinner, and a farewell lunch at Hotel Altis Porto. Chapitre 2026
